Curiosidades:
- Apodos de Sawyer: Faraday es "Dr. Wizard", pero Miles le corrige diciendo que es "Mr. Wizard", una referencia al presentador de un programa de ciencia para niños mítico en USA.
- En la tienda donde Hurley compra la camiseta está sonando "Dream Police", de Cheap Trick.
- La escena en que Hurley le pone unas gafas de sol al inconsciente Sayid es una referencia a la película Este Muerto Está Muy Vivo.
- El padre de Hurley está viendo por la tele "Exposé", el culebrón donde actuaba Nikki.
- Ben va a hablar con una mujer en una carnicería. Esto es una referencia a "Matadero Cinco", novela de Kurt Vonnegut Jr en donde el protagonista viaja a través del tiempo a diferentes partes de su vida sin control alguno, saltando en momentos inesperados sin saber nunca a cuándo se dirigirá.
- La escena en la que Mrs. Hawking está usando un péndulo para señalar una localización en un mapa es una referencia al libro de Umberto Eco, "El Péndulo de Foucault", en donde una escena similar sucede.
- Neil Frogurt, personaje que aparece mucho en estos dos episodios y que antes sólo había aparecido en un webisodio, es un clásico "Red Shirt": extras que sólo sirven para ser víctimas cuando alguien debe morir. Este término fue popularizado por la serie Star Trek, donde en las expediciones siempre acompañaban a los protagonistas otros miembros de la tripulación con camisetas rojas, que inevitablemente acababan muertos. Frogurt también lleva camiseta roja cuando muere, y de hecho hasta la camisa que le presta a Sawyer es roja.
- Ana Lucía le dice a Hurley que tenga cuidado con cómo conduce porque no le conviene que le detenga la policía. Durante el rodaje de la serie, Michelle Rodriguez saltó a las páginas de las revistas de cotilleo por ser detenida conduciendo borracha, un incidente que se rumoreó detonó su muerte en la serie.

Carmen: And what did happen?
Hurley: Okay. You see, we did crash. It was on this crazy island. We waited for rescue and there wasn't any rescue. And then there was a smoke monster and then there were other people on the island, we called them the Others. And they started attacking us. And we found some hatches and there was a button you had to push every 108 minutes. Well, I was never really clear on that. But, the Others didn't have anything to do with the hatches. That was the Dharma Initiative. They are all dead. The Others killed them and now they are trying to kill us. And then we teamed up with the Others because some worse people were coming on a freighter. Desmond's girlfriend's father sent them to kill us. So we stole their helicopter and we flew to their freighter, but it blew up. And we can't go back to the island because it disappeared. So we crashed into the ocean and we floated there for a while until the boat came and picked us up. By then there were six of us. That part was true. But the rest of the people, who were on the plane, they're still on the island.
Carmen: I believe you, I don't understand you, but I believe you.
Carmen: Who is Sayid? I thought he was your friend.
Hurley: He is my friend. But he's also got this double-life where he does crazy ninja moves and spy stuff. But he's a good guy.
David: You killed three people?
Hurley: No. Sayid did.
David: Oh well, that's better.
Ben: John's casket is outside in a carpet van. I need to move it somewhere safe.
Jack: Safe? He's dead isn't he?
Jack: Where are we going?
Ben: You're going home. Find yourself a suitcase. If there's anything in this life you want, pack it in there. Because you're never coming back.
